H.NAOTO'S 8 CLUB CLOTHING STORE IN SHIBUYA, TOKYO.
I’m an interior design maniac, especially with regard to clothing boutiques… and especially those in Tokyo! Here the first of a series of glimpses inside the stores of our favorite Gothic Lolita designers.
One of h.NAOTO’s more recent spin-offs is 8 Club. The concept: “Sexy and cute! [...] Loads of wear, goods, and accessories with super elegant touches of elegant laces and frills, as well as prints and embroidery of the familiar butterfly motif! A shop that’s cute and a little sexy ’n’ naughty, just like a girl’s bedroom.”
The 8 Club flagship in Shibuya has a bordello flair. The store carries clothes from the Honey line (“cute and sort of naughty collection for girls”) and the more exotic Roots brand “featuring feminine textures and handmade styles such as saris and beadwork.”
