December 6: drove from Los Angeles to the desert for a photoshoot at Hesperia Airport.

The lot was filled with small (and dangerous-looking) planes from the 1970s.

The clothing line has been on the back burner because I was in Tokyo for the past 2.5 months and have two book contracts to complete…

My friend found the location a while back (when she was producing a film) and thought it'd be an awesome backdrop for a photoshoot... so we drove out into the desert for 2 hours to get there. It was worth it! :)

Oh, is your fashion line possibly going to be for sale online (or even in stores? I don't know how this all works, lol) anytime soon? I would really like to buy one of your coats someday and I hope you keep us informed on any progress with your clothing line. ^_^

Awww thank you! I want to run this business professionally (contrary to some assumptions about my edu-ma-cation, I spent over a year researching and implementing a business plan... lots of legal aspects involved in entrepreneurship). In order to do so, it's going to take time... but I will have the clothes in stores ASAP. Thanks for your support!

was watching Blade Runner again recently- im hell-bent on recreating the Daryl Hannah makeup, you seem to have got it perfect!

Ahhh someone else described it a Blade Runner meets Cirque du Soleil - I didn't even think of that reference before doing the makeup, but it's spot on!
