GOTH ALTERNATIVE ROCK STAR EYESHADOWS: MISS K OF AROMALEIGH MAKEUP.

Miss K of Aromaleigh Minerals Makeup, hot electro wild Goth and alternative eyeshadows, makeup colors.

I always look forward to emails in my inbox from Miss K of Aromaleigh Makeup, who donated 9 generous Gothic Lolita prizes for this week’s giveaway contest. What a delight it is to have personal contact with an indie designer/entrepreneur… it’s a far cry from the scowls I get from Sephora’s security for trying on too many products!

In the About section of Aromaleigh’s website, Miss K (which stands for Kristen) opens up about a few of her favorite things. Her mission is to create products that “help other women feel good about themselves and reap the benefit of natural products” while also “subliminally forcing you to have fun with color!” In the photos above, she’s modeling the Rocks! collection.

A few fun facts: her favorite decade is the roaring 20′s; Louise Brooks is a style icon. Miss K also wrote an intriguing book called Holistic Aromatherapy for Animals. I know which scents my Basil Farrow likes best; a true Rococo kitty, he’s always sticking his nose in cupcakes, cookies, and cake!

Vegan, animal-friendly makeup in bright alternative cool colors. Aromaleigh Minerals Makeup, hot electro wild Goth and alternative eyeshadows, blushes and Gothic Lolita lipsticks.

I enjoyed reading Miss K’s long list of “random influences & things that make me tick.” Here are the ones that we share:

sushi, pop culture, subculture, sleeping, cute dresses, accountability, ribbons & bows. black nails, night, dressing up, Google, photoshop, pirates, chunky shoes, cameras, architecture, writing, Halloween, old cartoons.

Scary My Little Pony toys, My Little Nightmare goth spooky dolls. Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, Dark Knight joker makeup. Halloween horror toys by Mari Kasurinen.

What are some of the things that make you clap your hands in glee? Here’s my delight of the day: My Little Nightmare (above). Artist Mari Kasurinen took My Little Pony and transformed her into Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, the Dark Knight and more.

Don’t forget to enter this week’s contest to win Aromaleigh products! And please spread the word on my Goth Cooking Show debut on YouTube!

Also, http://www.gloomth.com/r19.html this is probably my favorite product of Gloomth. I really like how the shirt is figure hugging. A lot of tie-up shirts i see are really revealing too, i like that this one isn't. :D The colors are nice too, I love black/red and black/pink pieces so I got excited when i first saw it. ^_^

I think currently my favourite Gloomth piece would have to be the “Iris” bow dress. I find myself totally in love with all things purple these days. I also had a baby nearly 3 months ago and this dress just looks like it would hide a multitude of my sins.

As for Aromaleigh, I like the look of the Elemental Lustre Eyeshadow Collection. Yes, the whole thing LOL. I love mineral makeup because it doesn't clog my pores, and some of the shades are just to die for – I'm especially fond of Torment, Swank and Wonder.

Oooohhh pretty eyeshadow! :] Yesterday I spent a good amount of time looking at Gloomth's page and the Aromaleigh products. Who needs to do calculus homework these days?? xD I like two of the dresses by Gloomth – the Gunmetal Sulphide and the Anther one. And I like the makeup in the far left bottom corner of Miss K's first picture collage, the pink shade. :)
So I promoted your video and the contest on Facebook yesterday also. Here's the link-a-ma-jig.

And I'm going to have to say that the “Vrai Noir” Autumn Overcoat by Gloomth is my favorite piece by them because the shape is so lovely. >^.^<

    Faustina says:

My favrite Gloomth product is probably the men's Cross shirt I bough a lil over a ear ago. The fabric is soft and totally black (not blue balck or purple black but black) with little white crosses on the collar. I waer it around campus with my black fedora and get a lot of compliments.
As for my favorite item for sale now it would have to be the “Vrai Noir” Autumn Overcoat. It looks gorgeous and I'd love to own it.

I love the video. Kawaii! I can't wait to see more. I love to cook and bake but I never have time so simple recipes like that one are great.

Also my favorite gloomth outfit has to be the thistle top and skirt. I love it because its very Lolita but still has a hint of the Gothic. And I love the subtle thistle pattern on the pink fabric. I really like the old version with the bunny fabric but since that is gone now the Thistle Blossom outfit it my new favorite. ^_^
