VAMPIRE PAINTING OF LA CARMINA: DIENZO SOLO GOTH ART EXHIBIT AT HYAENA GALLERY, LOS ANGELES OPENING PARTY.

Tomorrow night, in Los Angeles… La Carmina’s bloody portrait by DIENZO shall be unveiled! Muaahahaha!
(Isn’t the painting remarkable? Blood-stained fingers and razor teeth… as the Brits would say, I’m chuffed!)

DIENZO and I cordially invite you to the opening reception at Hyaena Gallery in Burbank (May 16, 8pm to midnight). His solo exhibit features “over 20 new original paintings… big-eyed characters that drip murky streams of mascara, lounge in satiated conceit, or seductively prowl in their quest for blood.”

From the press release:
Also unique to this show is his collaboration with Gothic Lolita maven, La Carmina. “Her insightful and diligent reporting of trends adds relevance to the genre and I was truly inspired by her sense of style,” states Dienzo. He not only incorporated fashions created by the designer into some of his works, but painted one of Carmina herself.
If you can’t make it to Hyaena Gallery before the stroke of midnight, you have until May 23 to catch DIENZO’s exhibit… and of course, there will be coverage on this blog. Make haste, before La Carmina bites you on the neck!
