SWEET & GOTHIC LOLITA BOOTS IN JAPANESE DEPARTMENT STORE MARUI ONE. DOC MARTENS, GLADIATOR SHOES, LECHE BY YOSUKE, ARTHERAPIE.

cut-out Sweet and Gothic Lolita boots, Leche by Yosuke, cute pretty Lolita Japanese shoes and boots, kawaii footwear, designer fashion in Shinjuku young women's department store, shopping center Marui One 0101.

Do you recall drooling over photos of Shoe Heaven, the footwear floor of the old Marui One? Well, get ready to spill some more saliva. The fifth floor of the new Marui One Shinjuku is Seventh Heaven. It has not one but TWO sections for Gothic Lolita Punk shoes.

Crazy Japanese shoes, women's pink boots. Cut-out hearts in Sweet and Gothic Lolita boots, Leche by Yosuke, cute pretty Lolita Japanese shoes and boots, kawaii footwear, designer fashion in Shinjuku young women's department store, shopping center Marui One 0101 Japan.

My jaw hit the floor when I encountered Leche by Yosuke’s pretty cut-out boots. I can’t sing this brand’s praises highly enough; no matter how hard I pound the pavement, these shoes do not scruff. They’re remarkably well-priced, mostly in the $60-150 range. Lucky for us, Marui One offers international shipping – so you can grab a pair on their website.

Pretty red and white lace shoes, little girl shoes, mary janes with ballet straps, plaid punk shoes. Sweet and Gothic Lolita footwear Leche by Yosuke, cute pretty Lolita Japanese shoes and boots, kawaii footwear, designer fashion in Shinjuku young women's department store, shopping center Marui One 0101.

Hans Christian Anderson wrote a gruesome fairy tale in which a vain girl becomes so attached to her red shoes that they won’t come off and must be chopped off by an executioner. This story came to mind when I saw this lovely display of Lolita pumps and Mary Janes. Hello drop-dead prettiness!

Gladiator shoes in Japan, strappy ankle boots from Tokyo women's fashion shopping center. Shopping for Sweet Lolita and Goth boots, crazy weird footwear in Japan. Cute pretty mary janes and strappy shoes, Lolita Japanese shoes and boots, kawaii footwear, Marui One 0101.

Moving on… to pink and black GLADIATOR shoes? (Tissue please; saliva flowing…)

Japanese Doc Martens, special edition leather boots, Goth Doctor Martens, men's platform shoes, alternative footwear, studs, army punk leather stompers with red laces. KISS band 70s glam boots.

The men’s section reminded me of Romper Stomper – both the Russell Crowe skinhead movie and the South Park juvenile delinquent. (Yes, there are random influences floating around in my head…) Knee-high Doc Martens and studded leather boots with a three-inch rise: now that’s the way a boy should dress.

Pretty little girl shoes, Lolita clothing, sexy high heels, women's fetish pumps, Gothic Lolita young female designer footwear. Leather fetish fashion. Artherapie leather bags purses wallets at Marui One 0101.

In addition to the sea of shoes on this floor, there is an Artherapie boutique. The brand’s black leather bags and wallets are Gothic yet classy. As my friend said, “I could see my mother carrying one of these.”

Which pair of shoes would you snatch up? I’m selling a few doll-heeled leather boots in my Online Garage Sale…

Clean up on aisle 7! Silly girl drooling all over the floor!

The first things that caught my eyes were the boots. But my favourite would have to be the mary janes. They are just so pretty *__*

Hahahah! Come to think of it, my mouth DID get very dry… fortunately, there was a vending machine on the floor above that sold green tea milkshakes!

The plaid ones stood out for me too… Yosuke shoes are surprisingly comfortable. And they don’t scruff! It’s amazing!

I could have sworn that tale ended with the girl dying from exhaustion because the shoes would not stop dancing… I've always found it interesting that red shoes have a plethora of tales that link them with sin and temptation, but no one ever links them to that in real life. I only have one pair and I never wear them (they literally cut my ankles), but it's so rare to see an actual cute pair of red shoes. Even now, looking through these photos I see only two or three pairs, and those aren't completely red. I wonder if it's a subconscious linking rather than a conscious one.

I think in some the sanitized kids books, the girl dies from exhaustion… but in the original gruesome version, it was choppy chop! ;)

Very interesting thoughts about the red shoes. I think red shoes are often associated with kid's footwear – I've also rarely seen 100% red shoes sold in stores. And wouldn't it be crazy if your shoes were designed to cut your ankles, like that girl's???

They are talllll. One of my friends refuses to wear shoes with heels under 3 inches! Check out the height on DJ Sisen's platforms in this post!

I believe it! They’re not that cute though, so I doubt they’re descended from the girl’s shoes. I mentioned it to my mum earlier about how you never see fully red shoes, even online, and asked if it was a subconscious thing or a conscious one- I happen to love red shoes but they just don’t exist!

Ohmygod I'm in love with those Yosuke shoes…but they don't make them in my size D:
    Hate that this happens all too often ;___;
WHY MUST I BE BUILT TOO BIG FOR JAPAN.

If I had to pick a fave, I would loooveee it if I could fit into the white boots with frilly edges, the ones that look kinda Victorian (furthermost left in the shot of the cut-out shoes).

But thanks for the link to Artherapie – I'm in sore need of a new wallet and want a classy but still not boring one. Question, though: are Japanese yen bills smaller than U.S. dollar bills? I've bought wallets abroad before and found this can sometimes be a problem :(

Hm, that’s a good question! I think Japanese bills are slightly fatter than American ones. In any case, they fit into my wallet, so I don’t think you’ll have a problem.

La Carmina! This is a totally unrelated comment but I was wondering where everyone finds their boots/shoes! You always sing the praises of Leche by Yoksuke but what are other reliable brands? Where (online or elsewhere) you can find boots similar to Koji Kuga, Buffalo, or Swear; which all stopped selling? Is there anything similar out on the market now? Thank you! ~Jocelyn
