Peace Now and Black Peace Now sit side-by-side on the sixth floor of the reopened MaruiOne 0101 shopping building in Shinjuku. What’s the difference between the two?

Which of the two do you prefer? What do you think of Black Peace Now’s Lolita dresses? I like the multiple ruffled layers, but I’m not sure about the fabric.

Hello Kitty bento equipment and accessories, rice molds, egg shapers, cute Hello Kitty toilet paper, food stamper

Hello Kitty seems to be found on every product imaginable! These bento shapers and rice stampers from J-List are nifty, but the winking toilet paper is a bit too much… Check out these products and more Hello Kitty hell on J-List.

I don't like the fabric neither, and it looks like the color will fade soon..
I love the bow made with ties!!
  • Dragonswyng
while I do love me some HK I am definitely a BPN kinda chic. I love clothes that have the feel of 'dark'. make sense?
  • Me
You? Not sure of the fabric? Now that's a joke.
  • seed
i'm going to pretty much raid BPN in sf
  • I've been speaking to the PR people at New People World... more news and possibly a giveaway to come!!!
  • seed
    how exciting^^!
if you ever come to sf i would love to meet you!
  • Elena
I like the more boyish clothes and accessories in both collections
  • Well, if a Peace Now girl sips umeshu, then I would say I would be her.
  • Hahah! Hooray for canned konbini alcohol!
  • haha, yes!
Though, the umeshu I had came in a glass bottle (Fancy XD).

I agree with you about the fabric of the dresses. Looks kinda shiny on one, papery even. The designs are lovely, however. I really love both Peace now and Black. I love the idea of having dark pieces mixed with a little girlish frivolity!
  • They are one of my favorite brands... I have 3 secondhand BPN tops from Closet Child that I wear all the time. ^^
  • Ia
I love both brands, I would probably wear items from both stores on different occassions. Peace Now would work for my work place and Black Peace Now would work for tea parties and the opera (at least for the satin-y lolita dress)! <3 I like the material, though it wouldn't be practical for everyday occassions.
  • The opera - yes!
I own pieces from both the "night" and "day" side of the brand. They mix and match well with other brands, Lolita or not.

The winking toilet paper roll is very suggestive don't you think ;) haha jk

Hmm... between PN and BPN, that's a tough choice. I'm a bit of both, but I must say that BPN wins this one simply from that spider/vest ensemble. The lolita dresses are very cute too! Although I do love the ribbon ensemble from the first PN pic.

Btw, the tail of the Q in the title seems to be missing, making it look like you spelt boutique wrong. Unless it's just my screen...
  • I wonder what the wink suggests... ;)

I adore the kodona/boystyle looks of BPN and Atelier Boz. Photos of AB coming up!

Hahah yeah, it's the font... if you copy and paste the "O", you'll see it's a "Q". But I'm always glad when people point out snafus; I want everything to be as pro as possible!
