GOTH GLAM SPIKES & SEQUINS: UNIQUE DESIGNER SUNGLASSES FROM SB ACCESSORIES. BLUE FEDORA, ATELIER PIERROT DRESS, BLACK PEACE NOW CHOKER.

Urban clothing designer Stevie Boi reads my site and kindly sent me a pair of shades to test out. I’ve always had trouble finding sunglasses that match my Gothic/Victorian outfits – but SB Accessories has it figured out. Spikes and sequins, dangerous and glam – what more could I ask for? Visit the SB Accessories site to see and purchase other creative art sunglasses; they’re perfect for a photoshoot, a club night…

This is what I wore to a friend’s wedding reception…
Blue fedora: vintage
Crown choker: Black Peace Now, from Closet Child
Black and white dress: Atelier Pierrot, from Closet Child
Sheer blue tights: from Hong Kong
Panda ring: from Outlet in Ikebukuro
Pearl bracelet: an old long necklace wrapped around my wrist
Crystal and leather bracelet: vintage Yohji Yamamoto, from 10/TOW in Shibuya

Makeup: Light pink and gold-brown eyeshadow; fake bottom lashes drawn with a blue eyeliner pencil; wine colored lipstick and a bindi.
Nails: Silver nailpolish with black crucifixes drawn on top. Don’t forget a clear top coat.
What type of sunglasses do you wear? Have you been to any weddings this summer?
Two big contests to be announced on Monday! Also check back for Theme Restaurants book previews…

Lashy says:(This is my first comment here. ^w^) You always look amazing in everything! Everytime I come here, I want your outfits, but none of them would look right on me. :( Ah well, I still take inspiration from you, so thanks for that! :D Anyways, I love the blue tights! I saw the blue lashes and was wondering where you got them, I couldn't tell they were drawn! That dress is hawt, by the way. ^_^
No sunglasses for me, as I wear seeing glasses. I have transitions though, so they change in the sun; it's cool because I can have a normal frame with my sunglasses. :)

lacarmina says:Hi Lashy,
Thank you so much! I'll be posting several more outfit photos over the next few days. If you have a Reader Question or if there's anything you'd like to see on the site, feel free to let me know; comments are always appreciated! :)
I heard about those transition glasses on a late night show! Kevin Bacon was telling Jay Leno about them, and Leno made a gag about how he has “celebrity transition” shades… When a commoner appears, the shades turn dark. When Leo di Caprio says hi, they clear up! ^^

Blake says:I really like how you use the fedora and tights to add some color while keeping to cool colors. (:
I don't wear sunglasses because I wear glasses and the last wedding I ever went to was over 10 years ago when my parents were married.
Btw, I found this hat while looking around at Alice and the Pirates and thought you should have a look.
