Tis where i promoted the contest :] If i were going to Tokyo's Alice in Wonderland Cafe, i would wear the Estella party dress from Gloomth, because it is my personal favorite. Its soo cute, and lolita at the same time. Its also my favorite color, and looks like it would be really flattering :]]
    -Katty <3
  • kellyrobson
To Tokyo’s Alice in Wonderland cafe I would wear the Dark Violet Blouse (http://www.gloomth.com/r2.html) with the "Gothic Buttress" Gothic Velvet Bell Skirt with Side Tiers (http://www.gloomth.com/k17.html). I choose a top and a skirt as it is something I am comfortable wearing. The top because it looks light and is my favorite color purple. And the skirt due to black going well with purple giving the outfit more mystery like Alice in Wonderland. And the large puffy design of the skirt is just cute.

I re-tweeted the contest; http://twitter.com/TeaChild and put it as my myspace status; http://www.myspace.com/you_can_have_my_life

(my comment is the first one, or only one @__@)

As for what I would wear to the Alice in Wonderland Theme Cafe...:

Id wear the"Pale Dawn" cream mens shirt with
    the "Rose" victorian overcoat with
    the "Mon Chou" bloomers with
    some rough biker boots and
a top hat with a bunch of random stuff on it.

Put this look together and I'd be the Mad Hatter.
I would wear this because I think its fun to
dress up as a boy sometimes ( a fashionable boy though XD ).
  • Perfect - thank you! Have you seen my friend's Mad Hatter costume in this vid?

  • Becky Raffensperger
Hey La Carmina! From Gloomth's range I would chose to wear the Wistful Ensemble to Tokyo’s Alice in Wonderland cafe, because it captures the fantastical very well. Also, when one of my friends first saw it, she said it looked like Alice in Wonderland had gone goth.

    Thanks
    --Becky
  • Becky Raffensperger
Oh wow, I just read the other comments and like everyone picked Wistful too. >.<
I hope repeats like that are still ok?
  • Yup! No problem at all!

You get a bonus entry if you spread the word... :)

I would wear the Verdant ruffled lace dress. I love the flapperish stlye! I would pair it with fishnets. And make myself a black and green glass pearl necklace to match.

I am in love with the Vrai Nior Autumn Overcoat
  • MissAmphetamine
I'd wear the 'Anther' dress because it's fit for Summer and perfect for a tea party in the sun. I'd also wear the 'Vrai Noir' overcoat for when it got chilly to add to the alternative style sweet tea party. Perfect for a moonlight dance silhouette, while drinking lots and lots of tea.
I'd also accessorise with the 'Black Rose' headband and the 'Dauphine's Cross' wrist cuffs. Perfect for fun in the sun. I think it would be the perfect outfit for a kites and balloons teaparties. Or a Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland tea party, which are totally great even if from the outside looking in it looks amateur. It was fun ^^

I advertised the contest on twitter; MissAmphetamine
    Facebook; http://www.facebook.com/MissAmphetamine

I hope you had a good birthday :D
  • I love the words "moonlight dance silhouette" ^^

Thanks for getting the word out!
  • MissAmphetamine
Thankyou. I do get a lot of weird looks though, while I'm dancing in the sunset, but then my friends have some need to talk :P
  • OMG. as soon as i saw this, my mind jetted back to the purple usagi set. this one! http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transa... this was the first link i could dig up of it, but look at that, it's pretty perfect dont you think? clip a pocketwatch to the skirt somehow and you get a super cute lolita rendition of the white rabbit.
and personally i think the egg hat wouldnt go too bad with it either hahaha

oh, and i tweeted. BONUS ENTRY www.twitter.com/misskittycharms [and i @'d you and gloomth for extra linkage and pimpage. yayyyyy]
  • Delaney Price
It doesn't get any sexier than "Tartan" Plaid Visual Kei Punk Lolita Skirt with Corset Waist and Tiers. It has classic style, with hints of my Scottish heritage thrown in. I adore the length and particularly think that the white shirt with this ensemble creates a crisp, sharp, composed almost authoritative vixen look. Have loved in from the moment I discovered Gloomth ♥
    Shared with my Facebook friends
  • Ahh, I've been following the Cult of Melancholy for a few months now only just recently discovering how adorable Gloomth's clothes are.

I think the perfect outfit would include:

Itoshii White blouse worn under Tryste corset belt. As for bottoms, a ruffled skirt like the Amaryllis would look great for capturing that cute Lolita look plus, it has that eyelet white bottom that would complement the white in the blouse. Just as an extra, you could incorporate the Petite Coquette petty pants if you're feeling extra cute :3

I posted a link to the contest via facebook, but I don't know how to link that on here so I screen-capped the image.

This is so cute, oh yeah this is my first time commenting, i'm new to this fashion. I love it it's so Kawaii! ^_^

To the Alice in Wonderland Cafe, i would were the Anther dress and Dauphine's Cross wrist cuffs. It's simple (like me :P) and adorable. It's both dark and light, something fun to wear on a day out in Wonderland.

Oh and umm, i didnt know where to put a link. I have a youtube account so i posted a bulletin, if youtube's ok. Here's the link. http://www.youtube.com/user/KeybladeWarriorXII

    outfit:
    this jacket :http://www.gloomth.com/r29.html skirt:http://www.gloomth.com/k16.html shirt:http://www.gloomth.com/r25.html and bow: http://www.gloomth.com/images/IMGP97462.jpg

gives off a nice queen of hearts look, i'd also prolly wear the heart bloomers and a petti, to give a loli queen of hearts, look because the queen rules all in wonderland.

i always post all your blog on my fb, and myspace ! mujitsu ( akemi <3)
  • Ahaha great minds think alike... I wore a Queen of Hearts outfit to the Ginza Alice cafe!

    Thanks for the posts! <3
  • mujitsu
haha apparently, i was alice, last halloween, i would do something more royale thought normally
  • skyecraven
Definitely the "My Little Heart" valentine pettipants (because they remind me of the queen of heart in a sweet way)
With the "Thistle" top (Only because I have to overwhelm people with an outfit made entirely of two colours of course!)

    And to accessorize:
The "Black Rose" Bow Satin Covered Headband (To add to the "I look so cute but I really am evil" look)
  • Louise
I would choose: "Itoshii" Schoolgirl Top, "Pepper" Puff Sleeve Shrug, "Mon Chou" Victorian Bloomers and "Bright Cog" Clock Mechanism Hair Bow. It looks fun and comfortable, and the Pepper is quite elegant. Cute and ready for a long night out. I think it would be perfect to go to the Wizard of the Opera restaurant
Here is the bulletin i've posted
    http://bulletins.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...
  • Thanks so much for the bulletin. I also adore the steampunk hair bow - so clever.
  • RikaFurude
    "Wistful" Striped Ensemble
"Black Rose" Bow Satin Covered Headband

Because I think they're so cute together ^^
  • "Ghost" Limited Edition Corset Skirt
    "Avarice" Lined Shrug
    "Weaponry"
I'd wear one on either wrist. I like the idea of a little chain maile shimmer from under the lace
    sleeve
    "Dauphine" Bodice Top
"Lovely" Rose & Lace Ribbon Hair Clip
I'd wear my hair in 2 afro puffs and put one by the base of each.
    "Lisander" Sparkling Necklace (black)
  • Aww I can picture the whole outfit... gorgeous.
  • linzixp
I really like the "Shiro Lily" dress. I wouldn't go gurololi like in the pictures. I would keep it sweet and simple.
  • Ria
So cute! I think I'll go with a red Victorian theme and wear these for a dark Alice look:

Top: "Lobelia in Jet" Mourning Blouse
    Skirt: "Amaryllis" Ruffled Skirt
Jacket: "Victoria's Doll" Puff Sleeve Shrug (I love this one, so gorgeous *__*)

Top off with her "Cleric" Cross Beret, bandages on both wrists splashed with red, dark makeup and red lips. Black floral stockings and Mary Janes. Pin a tiny cat plushie in the left breast of the jacket. <3

I like the "Blackcherry" 3 peice ensamble...& the "Plumes of Death"Ruffled tattered skirt, I'd probably top it off with the "Black Rose" Bow satin headband... the sleeve caps on the top & ruffles from the skirt are so cute! it has a touch of satin & lace that is so simple but elegant. I luv that My fav. colors Red & black are the main colors & I could definately see myself in it, enjoying my own mad tea party in wonderland! haha

anyways, i'm going to japan again next year. and i'll definately check out their theme restaurants this time. i'm a dude. but if i have to choose a outfit of co-ordinates to such a fantasy and extraordinary-like restaurant, i would wanna let them shit in their pants while eating cake due to my dazzling beauty....

    Yay! What an exciting contest!
    I twitter-ed it :3 - http://twitter.com/briwhizbang

Hmm...if I were to go to the Alice in Wonderland Cafe (which I would soooo would love to go to, I mean how adorable right? :D) I would have to look fresh so I would wear:

the "Victoria's Doll" shrug with puffed sleeves with
the "Absythia" bustle gown under with
the "Saccharine" corset overskirt over that with
a pair of super hot crimson red heels.

I think this is a very Red Queen look from Alice in Wonderland.
With the red damask on the puffy sleeved shrug
and the gold in the bustle of the gown.

Now I just wish I could afford all of this stuff....
  • I would wear the "Shiro Lilly" dress to Tokyo’s Alice in Wonderland café. I would do a guro-lolita theme (totally inspired by the photos on Gloomth's website for that dress!). I would also wear the Gurololita Corset Belt, also from Gloomth. Wrap some medical bandages around my arms (maybe neck too) and wear some thigh high red boots. And Gloomth’s "The Nihilisse", their Dramatic Trench Coat with Corset Back & Reversible Cuffs, the cuffs would be turned red side out.
I would wear this because the outfit would be made of awesome ;) Cute & Sinister
  • aimeecomandari
  • aimeecomandari
I would wear "Wistful" from Gloomth to Tokyo’s Alice in Wonderland cafe because for sure this dress would look like its from another world it also looks like it from a different century but the main reason is because it looks like Alice and The Queen's dress

  • You rock!! Thanks so much, and good luck with the contest!
  • 007Abby
the wistful dress, been 100% cotton and corset, lacey stockings, heeled goth boots, precious blossom and lace head band with accessories. As I am growing hair back, it would be a funky bright coloured wig ;o)

reminds me of a Tim Burton character and adore his shows
Link: (am linked to your cat, who is amazing) http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/home...
  • Thank you! Sorry that the comment initially went to Spam... I appreciate the entry (and heart Tim Burton)...
  • 007Abby
I would choose the Wistful creation with the precious blossom and lace head band with charms, some lacey stockings and a pair of heeled goth boots. As, I still am regrowing my hair, a bright funky wig or any dark one. The ensamble reminds me of been, one of Tim Burtons characters and to be having tea it would be as a chamber or is it palor person. Not forgetting the outfit is 100% cotton ;o)

Been that Spring her in South Africa, it is far to hot to even venture into anything winter, untill that season arrives again.

  • Lashy
    Yay, I'm not alone! :D
  • Lashy
I'd probably go with the "Wistful" Striped Ensemble and the "Vrai Nior" Autumn Overcoat. In my hair I'd wear the "Precocious" Blossom and Lace Headband With Charms, and the "Beryl" Velvet Choker necklace. But the necklace... wouldn't be in my hair. O_O Anyway. They don't sell footwear (that I see) but I'd wear mis-matching striped socks (thigh high held up with lacy garters, of course) and black rocking horse shoes. =3 Sounds like a really good day to me! :D
  • Sarah
    "Rose" Corset jacket
"Plumes of Death" Ruffled Tattered Skirt.
