CUTE 1980S HARAJUKU GIRLS FASHION. FAIRY KEI RAINBOW TUTUS IN MANIA Q, PASTEL CAT T-SHIRTS, BANANA FISH SHOP TOKYO.

rainbow tutu skirts, ballerina skirt several colors, lace and tuile, pretty princess girls clothing costumes, Fairy kei shopping, stores in Harajuku Tokyo Japan, SBY Happy Room, cute 1980s pastel tutus, bunny rabbit plush toys, kawaii cute fairy fashion, 6% dokidoki, pink retro 80s Japanese fashion for girls, My Little Pony, Jem and Holograms fashion style

Back to the cuteness! In June, I posted photos of Mania Q, an adorable little fairy kei hub on Takeshita Doori (Harajuku). This month, I awwed at the 1980s retro cat tees and pink skirts on display.

Gosh, I love fairy kei. The next time you’re having a dreary day, why not put on a Care Bears or kitty t-shirt, pastel foofy tutu and giant pearl necklace? Instant sunshine!

The faded rainbow tutus were my favorite. You could probably make one yourself or even try dying a petticoat in soft colors. (Remember the skirt in this post?)

What also caught my eye in Harajuku? This “stairway to nothing” (the brand names on the steps are promising, but lead to nowhere. I believe the shop closed down a while ago). And Banana Fish consistently scores in the cute fashion arena. I saw new versions of my ridiculous ghost dress and kitty scarf.

Have you climbed up on the Fairy Kei rainbow-brite rocket yet?

Off to WASHINGTON DC! I hope to see you at my Cute Yummy Time book signing; info below. There will be free cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake!

Omg… in the last pic… I'm stealing the jackets xD and those shirts of course.
I was wondering, do you know where I can buy the brands? I have money for them but I can't seem to find them on ebay or on the internet other than rakuten and closet child aside from the official websites (of the different brands such as h.NAOTO, ALGONQUINS, etc.) And they don't ship overseas… WHAT SHOULD I DO? D:

I would buy from Mauione but the shipping is so expensive.
I do buy stuff from RTBU a lot, but I haven’t seen any h.NAOTO (I have seen a few HELLCAT PUNKS accessories).
But yeah, I do buy stuff from ebay but I can’t find anything from ALGONQUINS… I love that brand <3

Hm, it’s hard to find… with some research, you might be able to find sellers on Japanese auction sites… but sadly, the “cheapest” route is to go to Japan or Hong Kong and buy the clothes from there :(

I posted a bunch of DIY versions of h.NAOTO and other brands — http://lacarmina.com/category/how-tos/

There are always creative and inexpensive ways to achieve the look! ;D

I could do the DIY thing but… hmm.. yea I’ll check it out. But seriously, Closet Child should have international shipping because they’re so affordable compared to the original prices of the clothes >_>
