My jaw dropped when I saw these photos of Dita von Teese signing her new Striptease book in Las Vegas. That gorgeous dress — a vintage Vivienne Westwood! And the Marie Antoinette shoes by Christian Louboutin! (Images from My Vegas Scene.)

Impressive. Have you ever seen her burlesque show live? I’ve heard it’s incredible.

Dita also wore a violet Vivienne Westwood gown at her marriage ceremony. (All the way back in 2007, I did a blog post about Dita von Teese and Marilyn Manson’s wedding reception.)

I love the whimsical animal print on the left. It’s obvious why many Japanese Lolitas are fond of Ms. Westwood’s designs.

I just ADORE Vivienne Westwood. Her Anglomania for Melissa shoes are just incredible. I have a couple of pairs and they smell beautiful- like strawberry shortcake dolls.

never seen her burlesque shows live– she’s never gone to the midwest to put on shows (from what I know anyway). Ive seen youtube clips and she is definitely a great entertainer. love Viv Westwood, but so damned expensive!

Ohhhhhh~ my favourite out of these are the red and white dresses worn by the two blonde ladies. They seem most compatible with lolita style.

I believe the only thing I have that is authentic Vivienne Westwood is her jewellery; the classic iconic armour ring that I got for $50 xD, some necklaces and a pair of earrings that I received from a friend. Luckily, I got them all for EXTREMELY cheap and they ARE authentic. I just got lucky =p Otherwise I can’t afford Vivienne Westwood clothing…… yet!
