The Archies song ran through my head when I arrived at the Bodyline boutique in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
The big red-and-gold sign and giant Lolita photo are hard to miss.
Bodyline sells Japanese street style clothing for low prices. Sweet Lolita is popular here, but there’s also Goth, rock and punk.
The skirts may be made from cheaper materials, but the prints are cute.
I like the chandeliers and the spacious layout of this store. But I can’t stand the frantic techno Disney songs that are always playing in Bodyline!
There’s a large selection of cosplay outfits, including maid costumes.
So much to choose from… thankfully, the prices are affordable. Bodyline’s clothing and shoes also come in larger sizes!
