Look what the cat dragged in… I found more photos from Okadaya, the infamous fabric and trimmings store in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The wall of rainbow boas reminds of of the bus in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. (A must-see film. I hope I can catch the musical in NYC.)

There was a demo station for super-duper hairspray, which creates tall Visual Kei spikes. Aion would be proud…

I haven’t tried this brand of neon hair dye, but if it’s Visual Kei approved, it can’t be bad right?

Oh my god. I want to just fly to Japan for this store!! Well… There are other things I’d like to go to as well. (*coughconcertsclothingstoresizakayascafes)
And I make things if I can and if it’s cheaper. I’ve made cosplays, sketchbooks, a wig, hair falls, etc.
Right now, I’m designing a line to sell on Etsy. If you’d like I can send sketches~ XD

    • Fantastic! For sure, send me sketches and I can feature items on my blog.

  • I am currently making a skirt, and the one I just finished was a suit on which I added stars: http://rockingdollmuseum.blogspot.com/2010/12/starry-suit-semi-results.html

They’re all under the DIY tag!

If I can find some (fake)fur I'm planning to make a short jacket out of it and to remake this bum-pocket thing http://www.peacenow.net/commodity/201011/mens/photo/003/006.jpg with lots of shiny zippers!

    • Aww thank you! I know it’s frustrating to keep at learning Japanese but you can do it!

    I love the boas!
Right now I’m knitting a scarf for my girlfriend, but the things I’m most proud of having upcycled are a “Go vegetarian t-shirt” and a black mini-dress with the pride flag on the side.

And I’d totally go for the orange and black eyelashes!
