OKADAYA: WHERE TO BUY FABRIC, CLOTH & TRIMMINGS IN TOKYO, JAPAN. SHINJUKU FALSE EYELASHES, COSTUME MAKEUP.

Look what the cat dragged in… I found more photos from Okadaya, the infamous fabric and trimmings store in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
The wall of rainbow boas reminds of of the bus in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. (A must-see film. I hope I can catch the musical in NYC.)

There was a demo station for super-duper hairspray, which creates tall Visual Kei spikes. Aion would be proud…

Everything you need to be a Mad Hatter is in this store. Costume makeup, nail polish, gems, you name it.

The makeup floor has posters of Visual inspiration.

I haven’t tried this brand of neon hair dye, but if it’s Visual Kei approved, it can’t be bad right?

Eyelashes and feathers…

I’m tempted to roll around on the floor in Okadaya, laughing maniacally.

Wigs for Lolitas, cosplayers and host boys.

Halt! There are more photos from Okadaya in this post; come see.
Are you a crafty DIY person? Have you sewn or made accessories lately? If so, what?
