The grand finale of the French TV show (that I co-hosted with Antoine de Caunes) took place at Decadance Bar, above Christon Cafe Shinjuku. These lovely individuals belong to an extreme body modifications group. They sat in a row, stuck IV drips into their foreheads… and waited until their heads bulged with a giant “donut.”

    I worry about potential risks and long term affects of the iv drip they’re shoving into their foreheads. Are they using medical grade solutions or is it something they themselves mix up? I’m all for body mods (have a few myself) but something about this one strikes me as not so… healthy somehow.
    On one hand, the snake tongues freak me out but I think it’s because I’m too much of a wuss to have someone split the tip of my tongue. haha

      The effect is temporary, and I think they’re quite careful about the quality of the products and technique but still… any body mod has its risks >_<

    I like everyoutfit there. I have many different tastes about fashion and concepts so I can’t choose one just one them

    I also like the body modifications. I got 13 piercings and 4 tatoos myself, but the extreme body modifications. I like them, some or them are amazing, but not for me, I’m still not ready to make something like that.

      It was neat to see the small group of extreme body mod enthusiasts in Japan. They have a booth at Department H (fetish party) and often do suspensions there.
