Shooting with Discovery Channel’s Oddities in NYC today! But for now, let’s go back in time… to my naughty Berlin adventures with Yukiro Dravarious.

We stayed in a marvelous Go With Oh rental apartment, which you can book via their Oh Berlin site. Purple is Yukiro’s favorite color, so this was an easy choice.

Since we have many friends in Berlin, including dear Gsus, we were glad to welcome them in our arty flat.

We loved the modern art all over the walls. There was a full kitchen, and a welcome bottle of wine.

The apartment was centrally located in Charlottenburg, an artistic and upscale district.

Literally hours after we got off the plane, we were out on a nightcrawl. The 0.80 Euro beer was unpleasant…

… but the grain-packed German bread was heavenly.

To our delight, we found absinthe in many of the bars we visited.

The Japanese underground community congregates at Anko-kai, a regular event at Club der Polnischen Versager (Ackerstraße 170, Berlin). DJ Sisen, who moved to Berlin from Tokyo, rocks a PVC jumpsuit and buffalo horns.
