GELLONIMO, VISUAL KEI JROCK THEMED BAR IN TOKYO, JAPAN. LUNA SEA, ALICE NINE CONCERT POSTERS & MEMORABILIA.

GELLONIMO, VISUAL KEI JROCK THEMED BAR IN TOKYO, JAPAN. LUNA SEA, ALICE NINE CONCERT POSTERS & MEMORABILIA. STAR CAFE TOKYO: VISUAL KEI & HEAVY METAL JROCK BARS IN KABUKI-CHO, SHINJUKU. CURE MAGAZINE, Shoxx, back issues, Gothic rock bands, anti-feminism, j-rock, cds, downloads, mp3s, theme bars in tokyo, gaijin tonic, weird theme restaurants, small alternative bars, golden gai, hair metal japan, funniest weirdest clubs in the world

While we love our regular Kabuki-cho hangouts — Marz, Decadance Bar — the Spooky Friendship Club also likes to nightrcrawl in new haunts. We invaded Gellonimo, yet another Visual Kei and J-rock themed bar in Shinjuku. (PS: keep reading for a photo preview of my new hair color and skintight latex pirate outfit.)

The red lighting makes everyone look extra creepy.

Gellonimo is a cozy little hole, not far from Club Marz. With glam-metal posters on the walls and ceilings, it felt like we were in a teenage headbanger’s den.

The Marie stuffed blob on the couch is pure lunacy. (Or Luna Sea?)

The girls at the bars were regulars and sang along to the Jrock live videos on the small TV.

Would you like to see more photos from Tokyo Visual Kei bars? I visited Visual Kei Bar Zin, Fu-ki’s Bar Midian, and Osaka’s Moonwalk and Rock Rock. Coming up… photos from Star Cafe.

I’m officially an iPhone addict now. Here’s a sneak peek at my new hair…

cute fat cat, yellow kitten, cutest kitten ever, scottish fold, purple and red hair, cool hair dyes, gothic hairstyles women, female alternative hair, alt models, retro burlesuqe hairstyle, orange dye hair, la carmina hair, makeup, purple streaks, emo haircuts, girls trendy hipster hair, best alternative creative haircuts, experimental hair dye products, manic panic

Naturally, I’ve been snapping and sharing tons of photos of my Scottish Fold baby, Basil Farrow. He’s sad that I’m not taking him to LA…

I leave you with a teaser of my skimpy latex dress and pirate hat outfit photos from today… To see the full outfit, please add me on Twitter (I follow back). This way, you can keep track of my LA invasion with Seba!

Do you decorate your walls with rock posters? If so, which bands are up there? Important question: should I wear more latex?

I love the purple streaks :D they really compliment the other colours! :)

As for posters one one wall I have a giant framed Beatles poster and next to it a huge GACKT poster also in a frame (odd combo?) ;D also have a small poster of Ruki from the GazettE and GACKT official calendar on one wall. (plus many GACKT posters, a poster of Ryutaro Arimura from Plastic Tree and one of GazettE I still have to find room for ;D)

I also have lots of framed drawings that I have made of visual kei artists hanging my room, if you want you can check them out here: http://alienmaskedcreature.deviantart.com/gallery/ :)

The purple really compliments the other colors nicely, it adds a touch of glam amongst the fire XD

That bar looks great also. I love little hole-in-the-wall places like that, especially with a theme that draws in people interested in the same things. Its like being invited to a friend’s house =D

I have an entire wall of my room dedicated to DIR EN GREY. Small promo posters from ordering singles, the poster and ticket from the very first time I saw them live, and best of all is a one-of-a-kind poster my boyfriend drew himself for my birthday a couple years ago <3
The rest of my walls are covered in posters and pictures. Phantasmagoria, DIO -Distraught Overlord-, kagerou, the GazettE, D'espairsRay (signed <3), 12012, and one from Taste of Chaos signed by D'espairsRay, the Underneath, and MUCC <3

My walls are full of stories and love XD

Yeahh that’s exactly the feeling! being in somebody’s cozy den.

Oooh when did you get the D’espairsRay poster? Rose got hers signed too when we went to the Seattle show. xo
