That hotel is fantastic!  We’d want to stay there if we ever went to NYC–it would remind us of our home planets! :)

I love your whole outfit (<3 the sleeves!), and especially love those shoes!  I went on a big hunt for them last night, and Rakuten has them in white.  The only place I found where black ones might be had (in 24.5 anyway) is on japan.taobao.com.  I may be fanatical enough about them to use a buying service to obtain them.  Those shoes just have everything–the gothic lolita aspect, but also…they have the best aspects of some of the great mary janes on the 90's, that you wore if you were any kind of a weirdo girl. They remind me of the kind of shoes that you had to mail order from London back then (at least if it was 1990 and you were a 14 year old in rural Oklahoma).  They're actually better than the shoes back then–Miki Berenyi of Lush would have killed for them!  They give me the feeling I had buying imported copies of NME and Melody Maker, and studying the Trouser Press record guide to learn about bands! :) I said this to Ross and he said, "the creeping poison of nostalgia!"  But he loves the shoes! :)

Yukiro's outfits are great–in his sleep suit outfit, he's got a Bowie "The Man Who Fell to Earth" type of thing!  I love Mat's outfit too–at first thought he was wearing plus fours!  If he doesn't already read The Chap, he might like it.  I'll check out his band and watch your video later today!  Magnificent as always!
