DEATH NOTE SPOOF: CRAZY JAPANESE COOKING SHOW, BLACK SESAME ICE CREAM RECIPE.

Japanese tv show, weird crazy cooking show television program. Goth food show, how to make ice cream.

Thank you, everyone, for your encouraging comments about my Death Cookbook video! As you may know, I write books about Japanese pop culture and food, and I’ve been toying around with cooking show format that fits me. Why not an Death Note spoof & Japanese Gothic Lolita twist on the Food Network… with a kawaii-meets-kowai INFLATABLE bear??

Black sesame ice cream. Two scoops yummy ice cream. Wacky cute Japanese girl and bear, crazy weird Japan tv show. Goma.

Here are the Death Cookbook instructions and the black sesame seed ice cream recipe.

“Hello. I am Kojin, the Japanese Kitchen God. You can see me because you touched the Death Cookbook.”

HOW TO USE…
Write down the name of a recipe and close the book. When you open the book, a recipe from the realm of the gods will appear.

THERE ARE 3 CATCHES…
† One, only those who touch the cookbook can see Kojin and use the cookbook.
† Two, you can only make one entry in the cookbook every 24 hours.
† Three, once a recipe appears, you have 24 hours to gather the ingredients and successfully make it. If you don’t, you will turn into a hungry ghost.

BLACK SESAME SEED ICE CREAM RECIPE
3/4 cup heavy cream
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup organic honey
3/4 cup 2% organic milk
3 tablespoons kuro goma (black sesame seeds)

† Roast the sesame seeds in a pan. Let cool and then coarsely grind.
† Heat the milk in a saucepan until it almost boils. Reduce heat to low.
† Stir together the egg yolks and honey. Add one tablespoon of the milk to the egg mixture to temper it (warm the mixture up to the same temperature as the milk so that the eggs dont scramble).
† Add the egg mixture and sesame seeds to the milk. Cook on low heat until it is slightly thickened and coats the back of a spoon, about 5 minutes.
† Transfer to a large container and let cool.
† Lightly whip the cream and add it to the sesame-milk mixture. Refrigerate for a few hours.
† Place the container in the freezer. Every few hours, remove the mixture and stir it vigorously with a wooden spoon to break up the ice crystals. Return the mixture to the freezer and repeat until smooth and frozen.

Moi meme moitie dress, Mana sama gothic lolita hair. Misa Amane of Death Note cosplay, outfit, Goth dress. Japan cooking show video with kawaii cat and bear.

Basil Farrow and I had far too much fun making the video (please subscribe!). We can’t wait to film more episodes. What would you like to see happen next? Any recipe suggestions or plot ideas?

Don’t forget to enter this week’s contest to win TWELVE prizes – including Victorian mourning clothing from Gloomth and Gothic Lolita makeup from Aromaleigh! Details below…

Hello there! ^_^ Just wanted to say how much I love your line- such amazing pieces! >_<

And well- similar to “Hello Dalia”, I never win anything, but I figured it's worth a shot.

    For one entry- http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=13264949

For one more entry- I'm absolutely in love with Gloomth's line, but I think my favorite would be either the “Amaryllis' skirt or the “Ruby” three tiered skirt. I guess the obvious reason I love those two is because I dress GothLoli haha. And skirts like that offer a sense of sweet innocence while still staying within the perimeters of goth. And I think that's always something to have in a goth wardrobe. ^_^ hmmm it appears that I've rambled quite a bit… I think I'll stop now.

    Thank you! ^_^

    “Victoria's Doll”
Red & Black Shrug with Big Puff Sleeves & Corset Details

This is my favourite becuase of the puff sleeve details and where the jacket ends . Puff sleeve never sem to go well with me because of my broad shoulders but they look so cute on the model. When I first saw it I was in awe of its beauty! The fabric is just to die for and I love all the detail that goes into all of the designs not just this one.

Also I posted and promoted you contest on my blog. http://www.nakasnet.blogspot.com

Hahah I modified it to make it as yummy as possible… I used organic honey and organic 2% milk. (The fat content balanced flavor / creaminess / solidity.) The ice cream recipe is a basic one; you can flavor it with anything… such as matcha!

    favourite item is…
either the “Shadow Stripe” Tone-on-Tone Striped Gothic Overcoat with Ruffle Details

    i like this product because:
    this is beautiful!! ^^
it would look good with a blouse and i could go out with my friends or go to a formal dinner in this~~
    soo elegant~
also i really like this product because it will match with all my blouses (i think) and my gothic lolita skirts, which i find a very hard time getting a jacket to match TT^TT hehe
it will also be perfect to add a element of elegance and cuteness to normal clothes i guess~!! ^_____^

P.S- please make many more videos~~
i will try this recipe!! looks yummy~~ ^^
