HAIR TUTORIAL RIBBON-SHAPED UP-DO, ALICE AND THE PIRATES JACKET, BETSEY JOHNSON SKIRT.

I finished watching the Death Note anime and loved it to pieces. If I had a shinigami (death god), I’d only feed him organic ringos (apples)!
Cropped jacket: Alice and the Pirates, from Closet Child Harajuku
Black lace skirt: Betsey Johnson, from Beacon’s Closet in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Skull and bones print leggings, black knee socks: from Hong Kong
Slip-on black shoes: Indigo
Purse: Kiyo, from Wonderland in Hong Kong

My ribbon-shaped hairstyle is inspired by a this Japanese hair tutorial video. Put your hair in a ponytail; take away a 1-inch piece from the part closest to your forehead. Split the rest of the ponytail in half; tuck each piece into the elastic so that it looks like a bow. Take the remaining 1-inch piece; place it across the middle of the two parts and secure in the back. I twisted a few strands of hair, criss-crossed them over my forehead, and secured the ends with a pin.

I’m still having a grand time with Aromaleigh Makeup. Today, I used a trinity of shimmery eyeshadows: Darcelle, Satin Laces, Amarante. My nails are pastel candy-colored for Easter.
How was your weekend? Can you recommend any hairstyles that might be fun to try out?
