THE FASHION RAMONE: ELECTRO TOKYO HALLOWEEN HORROR COSTUME PARTY, JAPAN.

Ronan (Basil’s father) asked me to help him brainstorm a Halloween costume, and the conversation that ensued nearly destroyed my soul. One by one, he rejected my august suggestions:

“I’d only do things that don’t obstruct my looks…. I’m okay with being an archetype… If I could find a pair of angel wings to throw on that didn’t look too gay, I’d do that too… Is eyeliner enough to be a zombie?”

My heart, my heart! Every year, I celebrate Halloween until I’m half blind – so to throw on cat ears or vampire teeth and call it a day is… akin to pairing an Angelic Pretty blouse with jeans. Speak to me of existential horrors, not gimmicks monsters!

The Fashion Ramone understands. Party name? “Horror Vacui.” Dress code? “To expose the suicidal monster We have created inside.” At Tokyu Hands, I bought a meter of fishnet, laundry clips, and metal nails. At Loft, I picked up a stuffed duck. On October 31st, I “filled the long emptiness and doleful totality with impressions of the sinister mortal coil.”

The venue: Trump Room in Shibuya. Rococo, Baroque, gold foil, leopard print, deer heads, walls of mirrors, and black balloons all over the floor.

The Fashion Ramone and Narzib wild electro New Rave style party at Trump Room in Shibuya, Tokyo Japan. Crazy club kid fashion, blue lipstick, heart shaped glasses, ninja DJs.

The scene: yarimanchin and ninja DJs.

Silly Japanese comedian, Tokyo game shows on TV, pop culture celebrity costume. Japan flag rising sun Halloween costume. Fake mole on face. The Fashion Ramone and Narzib wild electro New Rave style party at Trump Room in Shibuya, Tokyo Japan.

This girl imitated a Japanese comedienne down to the mole and flouncy poses.

Nurse and scary nun Halloween costumes, sexy foam bikinis on Japanese girls. The Fashion Ramone and Narzib wild electro New Rave style party at Trump Room in Shibuya, Tokyo Japan.

The music: a jilting mix. Some good (minimal electronik, Italo disco, electro), some bad (to accompany the “tumult of vengeance, humiliation, and redemption,” perhaps? )

Batman makeup, red bat eyeshadow. Joker and Batman Goth costume for Halloween. Joker running after taxi, funny walk. Black rose, Japanese businessmen giving v-fingers posing for photos.

Without fail, drunk Japanese businessmen will approach and insist on taking photos, V-fingers raised.

Le sigh. What did you do for Halloween, and how did you dress? It’s not over for me… I still have Tokyo Dark Castle and Club Cemetery on my agenda this weekend!

Truth be told, I spent yesterday dressed horribly first in my school uniform then in my work uniform TT_TT
Definently not what I wanted to be wearing on the most exciting part of October.
Love the first pictures. A really cool looking 'costume'!

I dressed up as a witch. Just a simple cape and hat. [: I really love that person's make up, the one that is holding that black rose. Looks a bit interesting.

I was gonna wear cat ears and a collar and go out like that, but instead I ended up being a school girl cause my cat ears didn't get here in time…
I'm so creative. Can't blame me though, Halloween is NOT a big deal here, most people won't understand why you're dressed up anyway, there weren't even a Halloween party in town that I know of. Halloween here is almost unexistant… we have a different holiday for dressing up though ^.^

To go to school, I wore a blue and black gothloli ensemble paired with some wingtip maryjanes in the morning, and 5-inch platform maryjanes in the afternoon, and slowly got more extreme as the day progressed. I trick-or-treated with my friend, and we were Mana and Yu~ki from the Malice Mizer Shiroi PV! We got so many complements, especially while walking the mall.
We were so tired by the end of the day…XD

Looks like you had a fun halloween as well!!

lol i did nothing for this years halloween. although the last year one i celebrated it abit early me and my best friend just dressed up as naughty high skool girls, brought heaps of sugary stuff, my other friend brought her video recorder with her and we all just played truth or dare, went high from candy and didn't sleep for 2 nights. and video taped the whole thing.

nxt year im planning to wear a gothic lolita dress, wear contacts that make my eyes all white, make some home made fake blood and put it on some parts of my body, dye my whole hair red, and get fake vampire fangs. lol what do you???think???

A duck as a HAT??!! Too awesome!! I love that veiling too – I must get to that shop when I'm there.

Argh, I worked all weekend so missed Halloween…but popped out for just a few early drinks on Saturday night. I wore a black & white PVC corset, EGL rufled lace jabot, black Sass & Bide ruched leggings and a tux tailcoat.

I'm so excited!! There's a Narzib next Saturday night!! I'll be sure to see you there :)
