GOTH LOLITA CARMINA DRAWING BY OPTIVION, RUBY WINKLE GOTHIC CHILDREN’S BOOK CHARACTER.

Gothic Lolita drawing, La Carmina fan art, Goth girl Edward Gorey style picture, by Optivion Ruby Winkle artist.

An Edward Gorey outtake? Nope, it’s a sketch of La Carmina by artist Optivion. How fun: I look like I’ve just seen a ghost, or turned into one!

Goth girl graphic, drawing of gothic story character, red hair goth dress, monster drawing, spooky Halloween clipart.

Meghan Killeen, an artist who has worked for a detective agency and performed in a circus troupe, got Optivion interested in sketching La Carmina after finding my blog. Meghan also specializes in spooky-cute girls: she’s the creator of children’s story character Ruby Winkle (above). The red-haired Gothic heroine is unable to sleep, so she comically uses science, sleuth work and inventions to regain her ZZZs. Along the way, Ruby meets a beatnik bat, glowworm nightlight, and supernatural forces… You can see more graphics on Ruby Winkle’s MySpace and website. Sleep tight!
