Two: Midnight Mess, thou art the playground upon which the children of the night frolic. Yukiro Dravarious, one of the club night’s doormen, came over to play dress-up. The glitter tattoos and body stickers are from the dollar store, Daiso; the dress is… well, the length at the front is scandalous!

Three: the mass, the madrigal, the motet… aka the pounding EBM and industrial tracks of party organizer DJ Maya. Sisen, Chihiro and others often come to play – as well as bands such as Skinny Puppy.

I had so much fun at the previous month's Midnight Mess! Sisen was indeed there, almost unrecognisable without his trademark eye make-up and big cyber dreads...we had a good stomp to the industrial music being played. There were a lot more westerners there than at Alamode, it seemed to me. I must chase up some pics the photographer Kousuke took of me there...

Ooh, interesting. Pretty cool that Maya is multitalented!

I think I definitely need an explanation for what falls under 'dress coded.' I'm still undecided whether I want to go to one of these are not, being my first time in Japan, and on my own (plus it's a school trip, though we are allowed lots of freedom since we're adults). I think I'd be more comfortable if I had someone I knew (like my BF!) with me. :) It does look like fun though, and the people seem like they would be nice.
