You asked me for photos of cute Japanese stationery/accessories store Swimmer, you got em! I secretly snapped the Laforet location (below), as well as the one in Ikebukuro.

Each store is a silly-faced pastel paradise of notebooks, hair accessories, and random objects for the home. (You can see close-ups on my previous post about Swimmer.) From now on, I will be signing all my books with one of their bobble-head animal pens!

Cuteness overload. The closest I've ever been to a room full of that much cuteness is the bottom floor of Kinokuniya in Manhattan. Lots of cute stationary. : )

I would melt in that store! They'd never get rid of me. hehe I would definately decorate with the stuff sold (I was window shopping their online store – so cute!) I rarely like poodle stuff, but the poodle mirrors and contact cases are soo adorable. <3 I'm not a fan of their soap dispensers, though, they kind of frighten me, in fact, I wasn't too big of a fan of the kitchen stuff… The bento boxes are great, though!

A lot of the products are slightly scary… kawaii meets kowai! I have a soap dispenser shaped like a little person (but no scary face, haha).

haha! I was always a fan of the little soap dispensers with the animals floating inside clinging to the pump, I used to have one with a panda in it. It was pretty adorable – I re-used it with different soap when it ran out!

o I could definitely seem some of this stuff in my house ::looks around for similar things: and cheaper than Sanrio is a good thing lol. aww Basil! he's in good company; my living room is full of sleeping critters at the moment lol
