What does Marilyn Manson think of Japanese Gothic & Lolita fashion? Is he as captivated as we are by Malice Mizer and Visual Kei? Has he explored Tokyo’s Goth/fetish nightlife? I wonder… (and I’d be happy to be his tour guide!)
My photoshoot is inspired by Manson’s blue makeup and his (upcoming?) fantasy-horror film, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll. The concept: “Victorian England. A haunted writer in an isolated castle is tormented by sleepless nights and visions of a girl named Alice. He finds himself becoming a symptom of his own invention. ‘Now all my nightmares know my name.’ He is Lewis Carroll. Terrified of what waits for him each night.”
Dress: Moi-meme-Moitie, from Closet Child Harajuku.

Lipstick: a mix of two shades: blood red on the inside and purple outside.
Spade and clover stickers: from Tokyu Hands, for a Goth Alice touch.
No La Carmina outfit post is complete without a cameo by her ever-adoring earless cat, Basil Farrow.
