Let’s Purikura Party in LA on Feb 13! Come, my darklings: join me and the Adventure Team for Visual Kei and Gothic prize giveaways… photo sticker booth mania… J-pop/rock dance tunes and… well, you’ll have to be here to find out! All information about our party is in this post; will you tell your Los Angeles friends for me?

Greg and Del from Tune in Tokyo will be your DJs. We had a purikura bonding experience in Korea-town. Isn’t the top left photo the best ever?

Are you a purikura (Japanese “print club” booth) newbie? No worries — I have a Sticker Picture Perfect guide up on CNNGo. In this article, I give you a run-down of the experience and how to avoid screwing up the poses and photo decoration. My purikura with Lemon and Ementhy were used as examples! (If you know me personally, chances are that you’ll wind up on CNN…)

Your homework: study the CNNGo purikura guide well. What do you think of my tips and tricks?

A gentle reminder… the new clothing collection with Akumu Ink is available to order. We spent a lot of time on the Alice in Wonderland and Gothic Lolita portrait prints — please support, if you’re able, so we can keep putting out designs for you! I tried out the Puricute website and it was so much fun! I spent almost a whole hour upgrading my plain old photographs into super sparkly shuichi print club snapshots =^-^=

The time limit always gets me and my friends (because we’re all indecisive). Japanese cosplayers have mastered purikura, as I’ll come across many cosplay profiles with solo purikura images. I tried doing it myself and was overwhelmed.

Ordered my shirt, will be rocking it soon. When people ask me who it is I’ll say, “The coolest chick on the planet.”

Oooh! I remember those NeoPrint booths that were so popular in high school. These Purikura pics you took seem like an amazing improvement in the software.
